Mina Kim is a Ph.D. student in Machine Learning at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with her home unit in Industrial and Systems Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Benoit Montreuil. Her research centers on reinforcement learning and applied machine learning for clean-energy and freight-system optimization. She also works on interpretable ML and large-language-model–based methods to develop transparent and robust decision systems for sustainable transportation. She contributes to the Net Zero Freight Systems Project through the development of scalable, system-aware models that integrate logistics and energy constraints.
